EIMEAR CREAVEN

Division President, Western Europe, Mastercard

Mrs. Creaven is an experienced professional with a career spanning financial services, consulting, and payments for 20+ years. She has extensive experience leading large teams, managing a diverse customer base, and developing and integrating strategies that drive revenue. Eimear is an Irish national, currently living in Belgium with her family.

Eimear is President, Western Europe for Mastercard and a member of the European executive committee since June 2018. She leads our business in Belgium, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands and Luxembourg, through partnerships with financial institutions, retailers, governments and corporates. Eimear is responsible for leading the company's strategy and operations, driving transformational change across digital payments, cyber services, data-powered insights, financial and social inclusion, as well as diversifying into new areas including real-time payments and open banking.

Eimear began her career in financial services becoming Vice-President with Allied Irish Banks based in Dublin and New York. Following her MBA with INSEAD, she then spent three years in consulting with Alvarez & Marsal across Europe prior to joining Mastercard.
