CAROLYN CARTER

Carolyn carter is speaking with us today as Global President of the International Women's Forum (IWF) a global community of over 8,000 top women leaders around the world dedicated to advancing women's leadership today and tomorrow. Carolyn is the former CEO of Grey Group, Europe Middle East & Africa responsible for over 100 marketing communications companies in more than 40 countries. During her tenure, Grey represented more than one fifth of Fortune 500 companies. Grey became part of WPP, the world's largest communications company in 2005. After over three decades of global advertising experience, Carolyn retired in 2012 to form her own consulting business and pursue her passions for the performing arts through nonprofit Board roles including the Entertainment Community Fund (formerly the Actor's Fund). Carolyn remains a champion of ideas, talent, teamwork and equal opportunity for women at every level of leadership. She holds Bachelor and Masters degrees from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University and resides in New York City and Charleston, South Carolina.
